Havant Borough Council’s annual Bonfire and Fireworks Display set to wow crowds once again.
The event will be taking place from 5pm on Saturday 5th November, at Stockheath Common, Leigh Park with lots to do before the bonfire is lit at 7.30pm and the FREE firework display starting at approximately 8pm.
This inclusive, family event for all ages to enjoy promises explosive fun with children’s rides and side stalls selling food and drink.
Stockheath Lane and Alresford Road, Leigh Park will be closed to traffic from 4pm to allow the rides and stalls to be set up. Riders Lane will be closed by 5pm and parking will not be permitted.
The Mayor of Havant, Councillor Faith Ponsonby said: “Every year, the firework display is very popular, with around 8,000 residents and visitors attending. I am excited to be lighting the bonfire this year particularly as it is in my ward. I look forward to seeing a stunning and colourful display in a safe environment.”
