Members of Springwood Community Centre, Waterlooville together with 12 managers from the chain ‘One Stop’ are volunteering their time and rolling up their sleeves in a bid to combat litter issues in the Stakes Hill area.
Working with Havant Borough Council, who are already working to eradicate litter issues through the ‘Pick Up or Pay Up’ and ‘No ifs, no butts’ campaign the team of volunteers are urging local residents to give up their time between 10am and 12.30pm on Wednesday 20th August to help litter pick.
Anyone who would like to take part are asked to arrive at Springwood Community centre, 110 Springwood Avenue, Waterlooville, PO7 8BJ at 9.30am for a briefing. All equipment will be provided. All ages are welcome, however under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
